Dubai Launches Dock & Dine Program

Dubai Launches “Dock & Dine” Program for Short-Stay Yachting Visitors

Dubai is a leading tourist destination, which is further envisioning itself as a leading global yachting hub with the launch of “Dock & Dine”. It is an initiative by the Dubai Maritime Authority (DMA) in collaboration with the Dubai Department of Economy and Tourism (DET). It targets short-stay yachting tourists looking to experience the diversity of the local food and lifestyle scene at the marina.

Additionally, the new program will allow yacht owners, crews, and passengers to dock in any of the 20 participating marinas. From the wide variety of restaurants to the entertainment facilities, everything is within a 45 to 60-minute radius of each other. Furthermore, the network links some of the best waterfront locations in the city. They are:

  • Al Seef Marina
  • Bulgari Marina
  • Creek Marina Yacht Club
  • Dubai Islands Marina
  • Dubai Creek Marina
  • Dubai Harbour Marinas
  • Dubai Marina Yacht Club
  • Jebel Ali Marina
  • Jewel of the Creek Marina
  • Jumeirah 1 Marina
  • Mina Rashid Marina
  • Marasi Bay Marina
  • Marsa Al Arab Marina
  • Palm Azure Jetty
  • Palm East Vista Mare Jetty
  • Palm Jumeirah Marina
  • Palm West Club Jetty
  • Port De La Mer Marina
  • Umm Suqeim 1 Marina & Umm Suqeim 2 Marina

Dock & Dine Timed with Peak Season

The program is set to be in motion ahead of the busiest tourism period in Dubai, between October and April. It is the time of calm waters, lively events, and warm climate, drawing thousands of international tourists. Moreover, the simplified entry regulations and visa schemes allow foreign-flagged yachts to spend up to six months in Dubai waters. Thus, it offers even greater convenience for global visitors.

On the other hand, the city already has over 4000 berths. It will make every leisure boat and superyacht look sophisticated without feeling crowded on the berths. The government believes that the new initiative of Dock & Dine will expand and diversify the tourism sector in Dubai, making it a must-visit destination for maritime tourism.

Strengthening Dubai’s Maritime Identity

About the program, officials emphasized Dubai’s vision of blending world-class infrastructure with unique lifestyle offerings. Dock & Dine brings together our marinas and dining experiences in one seamless journey. It reflects Dubai’s commitment to offering more value for international yacht tourism,” said Issam Kazim, CEO of Dubai Corporation for Tourism and Commerce Marketing.
